Biography
 
Worawut Khamchuanchuen is a native of Samutsakhon, Thailand, and began playing the clarinet at the age of 13. From 1993-1997 he studied at the Royal Thai Army School of Music. In 1997 he was concertmaster of the Royal Thai Army Symphonic Band as well as a member of the Thai Youth Orchestra. From 1999-2003, he served as concertmaster of the Royal Thai Army Military Band.


In 2005, he was appointed as the Assistant Clarinet Teacher and Assistant Conductor of the Mahidol University Wind Symphony, and in 2006 he graduated from the same institution with first class honors. He also taught at the Thai Youth Orchestra from 2008-2010 and the Harrow International School (2006-present).

As a conductor, in 2009, he conducted “In-Chan” the musical at the College of Music, Mahidol University, as well as the “Help Haiti Charity Concert in 2010. In 2013 he served as judge of the 1st Thailand Clarinet Competition.

Mr. Khamchuanchuen is very active as a performer. In additional to working in several different chamber ensembles, he has been Principal Clarinet of the Thailand Philharmonic Orchestra, Thailand’s leading symphonic ensemble, since 2005. He is also a clarinet teacher at Princess Galyani Vadhana Institute of Music, and has performed in New Zealand, Japan, Korea, Laos, Myanmar and Indonesia.

Biography
 

Dr. Yos Vaneesorn is a clarinet professor at Faculty of Music at Silpakorn University. He actively performs with several orchestras as a principal clarinetist of Royal Bangkok Symphony Orchestra, and a principal clarinetist of Bangkok Opera, Siam Philharmonic Orchestra, and Siam Opera. Moreover, he also appeared as a soloist with Royal Bangkok Symphony Orchestra, Thailand National Symphony Orchestra, Hong Kong Chamber Wind Philharmonia, and Feroci Philharmonic Winds. In 2013, he organized the Thailand Clarinet Competition, the first clarinet competition in Thailand. Vaneesorn is also an active composer and arranger who regularly write and arrange pieces for symphonic bands and clarinet ensembles. In 2017, he wrote a set of new music arrangements for Feroci Philharmonic, a semi-professional concert band for Thai Classical Music Composition Project as a part of creative research project titled as Rattanakosin Classical Music funded by the Thailand Research Fund. The arrangements were recorded in November 2017 by Feroci Philharmonic Winds. Recently a new piece called ‘Enchanting Reeds’ for symphonic band will be premiered by Sinfonisches Blasorchester Ulm in Germany and conducted by a renowned conductor, Douglas Bostock in November 2018. In early of 2019, his new composition, ‘Vedana’ for clarinet and string trio will be performed in The Old Tokyo Music School Sogakodu, one of the oldest concert hall in Japan.
