Sarah and Elisabeth have enjoyed a long working relationship; for more than 20 years they have been playing together in UK orchestras and chamber ensembles.

During this time it has become clear to them that they share an approach to and understanding of music-making and teaching. They both believe that the role of the instrumental teacher is to equip students with the tools to optimise their own development as players and an understanding of how best to achieve this.

For the past 6 years Sarah and Elisabeth have devised a way of working together in flute workshops which draws on their strengths as orchestral, chamber and solo artists and teachers at the highest level.

Recently both Sarah and Elisabeth have been following related interests; Sarah is now a qualified Body Mapping educator and Elisabeth continues her studies in the Dalcroze method. These two disciplines complement each other and enhance the work they do. Their workshops are unique.
